“Ease UR Arthritis Pain” 

Have arthritis? I do, and feel it in my hands, knees, feet and back. My thumbs and fingers as well as my toes are my main source of pain today. I do not like pain and pills may help, but only do so much.

By massaging my arthritic joints each morning I can be pain free most days. Sometimes I may need to soak my hand and/or my toes in the evening. I make no medical or scientific claims, but I know I feel better, and this may be the answer for you.

I did for my feet, knees, back and hands. I make no medical or scientific claim for what I do for my arthritis. What I do works for me. I believe that what I do may work for you and ease your arthritis pain. I believe I am stimulating circulation in my joints and doing exercises and activities that improve my quality of life. You say you can not twist or bend like I do in the video. I could not grab my ankle in 2006 during cardiac rehab. I could only grab my pant cuff. I kelp at it and now I can grab my ankle. I have been doing some of these exercises and activities for more than ten years. Do what you can now and work to do more.

Dancing (Integrating Activities: Mind and Body)

Dancing is one of the best activities to integrate our minds with our bodies. There are many different types of dancing, ballroom, line, ethnic, folk or contra as well a square and round dancing. Dancing is a four step process. We need to listen to the music and the caller or cuer, then we have to process what we have heard, then we have to do something but we also have to remember several items, in both square and round dancing. Where is home? Who are the side or head gents? The ladies will dance with both side and head gents. The calls will tell us who. Do I turn right or left or not turn at the end of which figure. Round dancing is choreographed ballroom dancing with a cuer like a caller in square dancing who announces the figures. The couples do not change partners but dance in a circle in the same direction at the same time, In round dancing we need to remember, which figures start with the right foot or left foot? Some figures can start on either foot depending on which foot is free. Keeping track of which foot is free.
